The fire is what got me. I'd really love to know how you did it.

I just don't get this piece. It needs a meaning
shiiiiiiiiiiit
I like this piece a lot. The atmospheric perspective really propounds the size of the creature. The land is done beautifully and the water is stunning. But I laugh when I look at the monster's teeth! Maybe it's the overbite, but something about the way they stick out just seems cartoony. As a fellow digital artist, It's my duty to tell you this :P
This would be a perfect review, but despite all the painting's beautiful colors and detail, it kills me to say that the main figure's mouth is awkward. it feels wrong to me when I look at it, like that sort of expression would hurt to make.
this is inspirational. ZBrush is next on my to-do list.
I like this very much. You've managed to pull together a stylized painting and make it look good. Your lighting is spot-on, and the mood is perfect. Great choice with the eye-bubbles, and the butterfly near the top eases my eye slowly away from the piece when I'm finished. Excellent work. My one critique, however, is more nit-picking than anything, but here goes; Those things that look like talons confuse me. are they talons? roots? talons that curve like roots?
aww thanks a lot :) really glad you like it that much
well yes those are talons, but i just exagerate them, to make them more theatrical
<3
try this cool trick to make those runes even more awesome!
copy the runes, add a small gaussian blur.
copy blurred layer and switch it to color dodge.
enjoy!
very good. where do you go to school?
